nice, little Mike Ness in the morning. You see them last time they rolled through Portland?

Nah, I saw them in Boston after they released Sex, Love and Rock 'n' Roll. 2005 I think . When were they in Portland?

I think early this year, March maybe? I saw them in '10 when they came through. Not an enormous fan but it is a good show to check out

I'm always surprised when a band I know comes to Portland. It doesn't matter how popular the band is. I can't help thinking, "Really?" Except Portland based bands. I never was surprised that The Horror was playing @ Geno's.

haha no doubt. Man I miss drinking with old man Geno. Now with the state back open and Port City staying open it happens often enough. Just saw Titus Andronicus and Lucero at PCMH a few weeks back, and it was great. Not a huge act, but I was impressed

Port City is an interesting place. Lots of art school kids. Saw TMBG there last winter.

I was there! Always go see the Johns when they come around.

Sweet dude! Definitely my favorite band of all time, I've seen them around a dozen times. I think it was one of the better of their shows I've been to despite the camera issues. I was totally pumped to score a CD before they were released!

we'll have to have a maine/nh oppo meetup next year after the good cars come back out. If you end up in Portland with a thirst for beer before then let me know

Definitely. I'm always thirsty for beer, but I'm rarely in Portland. If you find yourself up in the north / Augusta area let me know.
